Allow students the opportunity to visually explore how atoms come together to form a molecular compound; as well as learn how to name various covalent compounds. The teacher can vary the puzzles, if needed, based on the ability of his/her class. The puzzles pieces may be used throughout the semester as a method of review for a class or state assessment.
Over two dozen molecular compounds can be built with the covalent puzzle pieces.
