Do you need a fun and engaging activity to use in your classroom so that your students can master naming ordered pairs in the coordinate plane? This activity is a great way to give your students practice finding coordinate points while also keeping them accountable for their answers!
Types of Questions Include:
· identifying ordered pairs in the 4 quadrants
· identifying ordered pairs on the axes of the coordinate plane
How to Use:
To begin the activity, place students in small groups (the ideal number is six to a group, but group size can be modified as needed). Each group member will work on one of the six puzzles in this resource.
Once all six individual puzzles are complete, students will work together to assemble the larger puzzle. Assembly instructions for the individual puzzles and the larger, collaborative puzzle are in the preview of this product (click on the preview to check them out).
Completed puzzles make excellent classroom décor. Hang them up on bulletin boards, in the hallway, on the wall/door, or from the ceiling!
This Resource Includes:
· teacher directions
· puzzle assembly directions pages (with pictures)
· 6 unique puzzles
· puzzle template (for students to glue down their completed individual puzzles)
· answer keys
Recommended Supplies Needed:
· writing utensils
What teachers are saying about Group Puzzles:
