Here's a worksheet you can pass out for the student-loved movie, Napoleon Dynamite! I needed a quick substitute activity one day, so I wrote ten questions for the students to answer as they watched this dorky film...
The questions are in Spanish, and I require that they answer in well-developed, creative, and FULL sentences. First-year Spanish, however, I obviously give some leeway.
I set the DVD to play in Spanish, with English subtitles. The students enjoyed seeing how the spoken Spanish matched up (or not) with the English at the bottom of the screen.
I used the questions as an oral review of the movie as well, requiring that the students respond to me in the target language.
