Product Description
This activity is specifically designed as a high interest activity for students who may struggle a bit with reading. It includes an ACT/SAT Style reading on the Battle of Waterloo, a 10 question quiz and a Waterloo letter-writing project.

The reading is entitled "The Battle of Waterloo" and is written in the 800-900 Lexile range. Included are 10 ACT/SAT-style questions, including meaning of words, content and inference questions.

The letter writing project has the students imagining themselves to have been a soldier in the battle. They need to write a letter home, describing the battle. A rubric and a research worksheet is included for the project. This works great as a supplement to a World History curriculum.

Note: This activity works great with our "Napoleon Tweets" lesson!
