This story was created for my 6th grade LA class at that consists of both SPED and ESOL so would also be good for a 4th grade class. It is at about an 500 Lexile level. Approximately 4th grade level. This would be on level reading for a 4th grade level but would also work for advanced 3rd also.
Each article of the week has 2 cover sheets, one that has a reading log included one with out. Both are editable using text boxes in power point.
There are also clear directions to the students on how to use close reading strategies.
I have also added editable directions and you can change the close reading strateies if you need to.
A complete Answer Key is included.
