- Leads in Narrative Writing: Included are the six most common leads in narrative writing, as well as high-level examples for each kind. We’ve added an activity sheet where students can brainstorm their own leads before writing their narrative.
- Conclusions in Narrative Writing: The eight most common conclusions in narrative writing are listed with their definitions. Included is space for students to brainstorm their own conclusions.
- Narrative Writing Rubric + Editable Rubric: To make grading easier, we created an easy-to-use narrative writing rubric. In addition to the .pdf, you will find a PowerPoint version, so you can edit the rubric to fit your own classroom needs.
