Room to Write units are a series of writing lessons which teach students writing vocabulary while teaching narrative writing skills. Each lesson is taught using a PowerPoint presentation, which includes an objective, concept development, guided practice, and independent practice. The engaging activities, which follow the lessons, help to make writing concepts more tangible.
The lessons included in this unit provide students with a foundation for writing a conclusion. They will learn how to write 3 different conclusions, which will enhance their writing. Once students complete the series of 5 lessons, they will be able to add a conclusion while writing a narrative.

♥Lesson 3: use quotation marks to show a person's words.
♥Lesson 4: write a conclusion using a quote.
♥Lesson 5: write a conclusion using I Learned.
♥extra: using the graphic organizer, students plan a narrative focusing on the conclusion.
♥daily: students can practice writing conclusions in their Daily Writing Practice books.
