Two versions of the peer review are included in this document: one optimized for use with Google Docs, and the other made for use with hard copies of the assignment. Knowing they have a peer review ahead really motivates some students to get a complete draft of the assignment turned in on time. Rather than instructing students to scrutinize grammar, this peer review guides them to focus on more holistic elements like good storytelling. Students earn points for reviewing their peers’ work, NOT for having their own work reviewed.
