PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This Middle School Writing Unit includes 17 writing activities and topics to teach middle school students to become more reflective writers. Students will learn how to compare and contrast scenarios, examine points of view, and reflect upon these experiences in their writings

This unit will provide students an opportunity to practice their writing skills in a fun and reflective manner. This unit is versatile and can be utilized during stations, as a weekly activity, or as short writing assignments throughout the year. If students are using a writer’s notebook, these activities could be started there as warm-ups and developed with more depth later. The students topic of writing is themselves, which help to keep them engaged. The assignments as a whole could be used at the start of the year to get to know your students or at the end of the year as a reflection.
