Product Description
After reading Late for School by: Steve Martin, we discussed what we would feel like if we were late for school. We talked about expressing how we would feel, look, think, what we would do. We talked about details, this helps people picture just what we would feeling like, look like, think like...etc. I modeled showing details if I was late for school. Then the students shared their details in this worksheet. I told them I wanted to be able to picture them if they were late for school. Great/fun way to practice creating a mental image in your head and then showing details to help readers picture this moment too. My students enjoyed coming up with details and drawing themselves.
