This Scoot game contains 24 narrative and 24 expository writing prompts. Students rotate through the scoot cards and quickly write down an idea or explanation for each prompt. For example, if the card reads “A time you found something,” the student might write down: when I found our puppy Spot. If the card reads “Explain why it is important to have rules,” the student might write down: Rules keep us from hurting ourselves or someone else.
