This product goes along with the book "National Geographic Kids Seed to Plant", by Kristin Baird Rattini. This is a non-fiction, informational book that gives children fascinating facts with amazing photographs about the plant life cycle. This non-fiction book study contains the following components:
**Anticipation Guide- Before reading, the students will read some sentences about plants. They will predict whether or not they are facts or non-facts. Then as they read, they will compare their predictions with the information in the book.
**Review Quiz - answer key included
**Glossary Page - The students will make a glossary based on some of the vocabulary words from the book. They can look the words up in a dictionary, online dictionary resource, or they can be discussed with the class/reading group.

**16 word cards containing vocabulary words from the book.
**Table of Contents Activity
**Plant Writing Paper - Students can use this paper to write about plants using this book (or an online resource if you wish. Writing topic ideas could include: the parts of a plant, uses for plants, the life cycle of plants, or a make believe story about a plant.
