Pg. 3-7 Science Vocabulary and Academic Vocabulary – copy pages A and B back to back – cut on the dotted lines and fold on the solid lines – draw a picture and write a sentence for each vocabulary word

Pg. 8-12 My Lunchbox – cut out the lunch box and glue it on the box on the accompanying paper- pack the correctly spelled spelling words into your lunchbox – 3 choices 1. only the spelling words, 2. the first four spelling words and the 6 high frequency words 3. all 10 spelling words and 6 high frequency words

Pg. 13-14 Got Milk? – color the spelling words depending on if they have ch, tch, or th in them – write them in the boxes

Pg. 15-17 th, ch, and tch Delivery! – write words with th, ch, and tch in the boxes and then load the truck by gluing the boxes into the truck

Pg. 18-20 am, are, is – copy pages A and B back to back, fold on the solid line and cut on the dotted lines – lift the flap and write a sentence with the pronoun and the word on the flap

Pg. 21-23 am, is, or are – glue the picture boxes to the top of the writing boxes – flip it up and write a sentence - use the pronoun, then choose am, is, or are, add verb plus –ing

Pg. 24-29 Make a Sandwich – There are two choices of topics: How to Make My Favorite Sandwich or Where Does My Sandwich Come From? Put the lettuce, cheese, and meat pages between the bread – write what happens first, then, and last – students can color the pages lightly or you can run them off on green, yellow, pink paper and white bread – place them in a sandwich bag and hang them in the hall for a fun display

Pg. 30-33 How did this get in my lunch? – cut out the detail food boxes – write details that you learned about each food item on the paper and place them in your lunch sack – the clementine page has enough for four students

Pg. 34-41 Pack Your Lunch! – a game to practice your high frequency words - Put all the cards face down in a pile. Take turns picking a food item to pack in your lunch. You need to get all six food items to win. Read each word out loud before placing them into your lunch box. If you pick up an item that is already in your lunch box, place it back into the pile and lose your turn.
