Placed into 10.1 under the Common Core Social Studies Curriculum, the concept of Nationalism is discussed early in the year. Nationalism helps describe how countries began to interact with one another in an increasingly interconnected world. Other areas that this lesson could be included into are 10.2, 10.5, or even 10.7 if you are considering using it with decolonization.
