Native American Art Project: The First Strawberries - A Relief Sculpture Project
This Native American project is a great activity to welcome SPRING! The inspiration for this lesson comes from a book by Joseph Bruchac: The First Strawberries. This is a Cherokee story that teaches us the importance of forgiveness. Students will create a Strawberry relief sculpture combined with painting techniques.
