This is the chart my class uses to take notes as we discuss each tribe after they present their projects. It lets them fill in information on shelter, clothing, food, location, and environment. I purposely kept the squares small since we are also working on note taking and I want them to focus on writing key words, not everything I say. This serves as their study guide for our Native American test.
I have also added a chart with my keywords I require students to know about each tribe. They learn more, especially when completing my Native American project, but these are the items I highlight and make sure they know when I teach and condense what they've learned through their projects.
