These products allow students to describe, locate, match characteristics, and compare and contrast six regions of the American Indians in North America, and the assessment directly correlates to the activities and GSE standards.

It covers the following regions:
- Arctic
- Northeast
- Northwest
- Plains
- Southeast
- Southwest

What’s Included:

Activities and Printables:
- American Indian Region Organization Informational Chart – Students fill in information about each region’s food, clothing, and shelter options.
- Graphic Organizer for each of the 6 Regions: Artic, Northeast, Northwest, Plains, Southeast, and Southwest
- Map Location Activity – Students locate each region and label it with the correct region name.
- 3 Matching Activities – Students match the description about either shelter, food, or clothing to the correct region it is describing.

Assessment:
- 20 Point Assessment with 10 multiple choice questions, 5 map location identification of regions, and 3 constructed response questions.
- Answer Key for the assessment for easy grading

The bundle specifically aligns to Georgia Standards of Excellence for 3rd Grade Social Studies:
SS3H1: Describe early American Indian cultures and their development in North America.
a. Locate the regions where American Indians settled in North America: Arctic, Northwest, Southwest, Plains, Northeast, and Southeast.
b. Compare and contrast how American Indians in each region used their environment to obtain food, clothing, and shelter.
c. Discuss how American Indians continue to contribute to American life (e.g., arts, literature).
