Great project for students to delve into the history, customs, environment, and resources of any tribe in North America. Kids can print pictures for each section or draw their own.
Extend learning by having more advanced students compare and contrast their individually assigned tribes in order to understand how the relationship between people and their physical environment impacted their various cultures.
Source material is not included. Students should use multiple resources to complete the project. We sell a great informational text on the Pueblo tribe that is written at both 3rd and 4th/5th grade levels. We have texts for 15 California tribes as well. These non-fiction resources are a perfect complement to our Native American Lapbook.
