This project-based activity is designed to let student groups research, design, and display information about Native Americans in a wing of a mall setting. Each tribe is represented by a restaurant (food), toy store (looks and dress), hardware (tools), house ware (housing needs and tools), and a movie theater (history of tribe) in the wing of the mall. Students will have to use critical thinking to translate their notes from research into the assigned store for display and an oral presentation. Complete store descriptions and a rubric are available int he packet. Only Florida web links are provided.
