**This is the updated version of this video. It was originally made as an iMovie, but I didn't like the way it uploaded. This is just the mp4 version.
This is the first video in a series of flipped classroom videos for students in American Literature. This video explains the elements of Native American oral literature and introduces the four readings for the unit: "World on Turtle's Back," "When Grizzlies Walked Upright," "Navajo Origin Legend," and the "Iroquois Constitution."
As student view the video, they can complete the Native American Oral Literature graphic organizer, or note taking exercise.
The readings and assignments for this unit are also in my store.
If you would prefer to have the ppt or Keynote for this lecture, please email me and I would be happy to send those to you. That way you can make your own video lecture.
