This set of 29 task cards includes questions about Native American tribes. They include questions relating to clothing, food, and shelter of the Inuit, Kwakiutl, Nez Perce, Hopi, Seminole, and Pawnee tribes. The questions are a great way to review information with students, and the QR codes provide an engaging technology integrated experience. An answer key is included.
Students should be provided with a device that has a QR scanner on it. All students need to do is scan the QR code and a question will appear. Students can then answer the question on a recording sheet.
These task cards cover the following standards:
GPS - SS4H1 - The student will describe how early Native American cultures developed in North America.
a. Locate where Native Americans settled with emphasis on the Arctic (Inuit), Northwest (Kwakiutl), Plateau (Nez Perce), Southwest (Hopi), Plains (Pawnee), and Southeast (Seminole).
b. Describe how Native Americans used their environment to obtain food, clothing, and shelter.
