This bundle includes 6 PowerPoints, one for each tribe (Hopi, Pawnee, Nez Perce, Seminole, Kwakiutl, Inuit). Each include a slide about the following information; climate/region, food, clothing, shelter. Each includes real life pictures from the Library of Congress as well as a slide with the basic information for students to record in their charts. The information recording chart is included for students to fill in basic information about each tribes food, clothing, and shelter.
This bundle includes the following standards:
GPS - SS4H1 The student will describe how early Native American cultures developed in North America.
a. Locate where Native Americans settled with emphasis on the Arctic (Inuit), Northwest (Kwakiutl), Plateau (Nez Perce), Southwest (Hopi), Plains (Pawnee), and Southeast (Seminole).
b. Describe how Native Americans used their environment to obtain food, clothing, and shelter.
