This hands-on activity allows students to use Native American symbols to write a story on a "hide". Use a brown paper bag and a black sharpie to draw the symbols.
Page 1: Cover Page. I like to cut out and glue/tape on a 9x12 or 10x13 manila envelope so that you can store a class set of laminated learning outcome, symbol sheets and directions. You can use them year after year.
Page 2: What’s included
Page 3: Learning Outcome. Laminate and store in manila envelope.
Page 4: Native American Symbols. Make one copy for every two students. Print on colored paper or cardstock and laminate. They will last for years and years.
