This craftivity is easy to prep and fun for any primary
The turkey and Native American can be made and displayed separately (as shown above) or glued back to back. Add a stick and it could be a great puppet for acting out a Turkey Poem or Native American Song! We glued ours back to back and are hanging them from the ceiling!
We made ours in small groups so we let our students use pinking sheers to cut the feathers but in years past we have done this craft whole group and students used regular scissors!
This year we used tan paper for the Native American and brown paper for the turkey but in the past we have used tan for both! We have also used scrapbook paper for feathers in past years. For more ideas and freebies please visit our blog: www.kthru2inmalibu.blogspot.com!
