*An organizer following each region to reflect on what was read and to take notes on the information presented..

*A pocket chart activity comparing Native American tribes. This is to be done together as a class after reading the information on the tribes in the different regions.

*Comparing two tribes venn diagram.

*A pocket chart activity that sorts what part of the buffalo was used to make an item that was needed by the Native Americans in the Plains.

*33 vocabulary words and their definitions.

*An illustrated dictionary where students use the vocabulary words given to create this dictionary.

*A 20 page book on the Sioux that children will illustrate. This book explains what life would have been like for the Sioux in the 1800’s. A great addition to your class books.

*Finally two different writing activities for your students that have them reflecting on life as a Native American many years ago.

*A report form and organizer for writing a report about a Native American tribe.
