Native Americans Myth-Busters! Students "bust" 5 American Indian myths!
In this highly-engaging lesson, students seek to prove or "bust" 5 myths surrounding Native Americans (American Indians).
Students examine SIX different sources and gather evidence to prove or bust 5 myths regarding Native Americans and their culture. First, students navigate around the room and examine six different sources. Then, students make a claim that each myth is either fact or fiction. Students either prove the myth or "bust" it with source information! Great way to get students up and out of their seat, while staying engaged at the same time!
Want to modify this for lower-level students? Myth placards are included to place with source information to help guide students in the right direction.
