This is a very engaging series of stations to learn and review the Native Americans of North America. Included in this purchase is helpful information to set up 7 stations in your classroom about the Native Americans of North America, including the Plateau, Eastern Woodlands, Northwest Coast, Great Plains, Southwest, Southeast, and California Intermountain. Your students will love these stations and ask for more! Stations are a mix of hands on activities, crafts, and games. They will be able to share finished products with their families. The stations are set up for tic-tac-toe style. As students finish a station, they earn a stamp from the teacher and can move on to the next station of their choice to earn three in a row. There is a lot of room for differentiation for each teacher and for each student. Students are able to personalize their learning to make meaningful connections! This closely follows History Alive Ch. 2, but can work with any Native American unit of North America. This was used in a 5th grade classsroom, but can be adapted for other grade levels. While there is some preparation in the beginning from the teacher, your students will enjoy these activities and it's well worth it! This product includes simple directions, blank tic-tac-toe sheet, station directions for your baskets (including supplies needed), and reflection questions.
