Nativity Skit for Christmas | The Birth of Jesus

A Nativity Play for Kids about Jesus' Birth

Christmas Sunday School Program - Great for School or Church

Jesus' birth is a very special celebration. Help your kids learn about the first Christmas and celebrate Jesus' birth using this short Nativity skit. This skit can be used for a church Christmas program or used during a Christmas Sunday School lesson.

What's Included In This Nativity Skit for Kids:

  • 2 Page Nativity Play with 5 Speaking Parts
  • 6 Finger Puppets (Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, Angel, Narrator 1, Narrator 2)
  • PowerPoint with Skit

This Christmas skit has 5 speaking parts and will take about 5 minutes. Extra characters could play sheep or shepherds in a Christmas program for your church. The Nativity skit can be used for 2nd-6th graders. Include younger kids in a program by adding 2-3 Christmas songs for everyone to sing together after the skit.

Also included is a PowerPoint with the script so that it is possible to project the kids' lines up on a projector. This eliminates the need for kids to memorize their lines.

This is a two page Christmas skit with the following parts:

  • Narrator 1
  • Narrator 2
  • Angel
  • Mary
  • Joseph

Also included are 6 finger-sized puppets. If you opt to use this skit in a Sunday School lesson about the Nativity, you can print off these puppets, glue to craft sticks, and choose readers for each part.

This is a simple Nativity skit that is easy to use for a short church program or can be acted out with the included Nativity puppets.
