Natural Disasters: FLOOD VOCABULARY QUIZ
This is a 24 question Flood Vocabulary assessment quiz. It is a paired product with Water Disaster Vocabulary Terms and Concepts. The quiz is presented as a PowerPoint Show. Each question is presented as a fill in the blank sentence with 4 vocabulary choices. (It is structured similarly to the end of the year State ELA exams.) At the end of the quiz the students either exchange papers or self-correct the quiz. Four bonus questions are included as an incentive to study and remember the terms, for a possibility of 120%. One of the added benefits, is to use this presentation to hone test taking strategies.
PowerPoint Show made with Microsoft 8.1
Features include: slide sorter, laser pointer, digital pen, high lighter, and presenter’s notes. This makes it possible to add or highlight notes directly onto the slides. It is possible to check out these features on the preview, by right clicking on the screen. A tool box will appear so that you can experiment with the various tools.
