I used this after learning about the physical regions of Canada - I also had the kids do each section as a group of 4 (they researched diamonds), then presented each section.
I then gave each group 4 or 5 different natural resources to research and they had to fill the whole sheet out as a group this time, instead of just one section. They also presented this information to the class while the class took notes on two things they learned from each natural resource.
It worked really well!!
