Students having trouble understanding natural rights and the federal government? Make sure that your students are able to tell the difference between some of the key terms and vocabulary involved in this important topic. This would be a perfect assessment or interactive notebook activity. Students are asked to cut out each sentence and decide whether it fits with the category of Popular Sovereignty, "We the People", Natural Rights, Preamble to the US Constitution, and the Federal System of Government. They then glue under the correct heading on the included sheet OR paste into a social studies interactive journal.
An answer key is included for easy grading.
