Students love performing this skit! It is a great way to review the steps of natural selection. Students take on the roles of tarantulas, wasps, diseases, or crawling insects in this skit. Along the way, they perform examples of overproduction, inherited variation, struggle to survive, and successful reproduction. The skit can accomodate 16+ student roles. Have students do this as a quick review in class or have them rehearse, dress the part, and record their production...either way, this skit is loads of fun and chock full of science!
