There are many benefits to connecting students with the outdoors. Why not take them on a Nature walk? With this template students can either work individually, in pairs or in small groups to collect items found in nature. Each time they find an item on the list they can use tally marks (or select their own tracking method) to keep track of how many they found. Once you get back to the classroom they can determine how many in total for each of the found items. At the end, the nature artifacts can become a collaborative art piece!
