Here is a short story based off the Comprehensible Input / TPRS style of language acquisition. It is about a young Canadian girl who thinks her life is too boring. Little does she know her parents are planning something special.
- Canadian slang/dialect
- various reflexive verbs - infinitive/conjugated and with different subjects/person
- negations (never, no longer, etc.)
Multiple exercises are included to draw out understanding of the story and reinforce the grammatical and vocabulary structures mentioned. They can easily be edited to match your students' level and abilities.
