This resource will help students recognize how thoughts and feelings are connected. Students will learn the difference between negative and positive thoughts, recognize how thoughts guide feelings and behavior, and recognize that positive thoughts are a choice.
This resource includes two group session lesson plans from my comprehensive stress and anxiety curriculum—STRESS DEMOLITION
. The lessons incorporate CBT strategies and include objectives, materials, scripted discussion, and processing and reflection questions and can also be used for individual student counseling. These lessons are appropriate for students as young as grade 3 up to grade 7.
*Since they will be used separately from the full curriculum, these lessons are intended to supplement your own stress/anxiety lessons or programs.
