Sometimes it could be tough teaching 2nd graders how to borrow from a number when adding or subtracting. While we know that the borrow method is one of the easiest ways to solve a number sentence, this game will help sharpen your 2nd grader's skills!
Solely focusing on borrowing, this game is perfect for learning and math centers or instructional time. This game is at it's best when printed and played with a start-to-finish board game and a die.
*Board not included*
Board game instructions:
-Place printed problem slides/cards faced down on a table.
-Have students pick a piece to move around the board.
-Roll the die.
-Draw the first page/card from the top of the deck.
-If you solve the problem correctly, move your piece the number of times shown on die.
-If incorrect, keep your piece in the same spot.
REPEAT! HAVE FUN!!
