Science Lessons That Rock

After you have taught the 3 pillars of sustainability (environmental, economic, and social) it is fun to have students do a sustainability audit of their neighborhood. In this activity, students will make observations in their area and take notes on what they see. They will analyze the overall sustainability, write up their observations, and make suggestions on what could be done to improve the sustainability of the neighborhood. Included is a 3 page EDITABLE student worksheet and sample answers.
