Students examine Nadia Russ' self-portraits and her biography to learn about the individual who created them. Students learn about NeoPopRealism ink & pen pattern drawing style and concept that Nadia Russ created in 1989 (if students are not familiar with this style yet). Students look attentively at drawings by Nadia Russ and old masters (Leonardo Da Vinci) to respond to questions and make comparisons about art styles NeoPopRealism and realism. Students create selfportrait in NeoPopRealism ink pen pattern drawing manner, a Nadia Russ/ NeoPopRealism-style self-portrait using pen 0.7mm.

- Student photograph or a small mirror that could be easily installed at a student's table at different angles (mirror preferable)
- Two Sheets of White Paper 8.5"x11"
