Need a great way to engage students while studying the Neolithic Agricultural Revolution? This activity serves to simulate the need for an agricultural revolution. The task at hand is for students to solve the same problem that the Paleolithic and early Neolithic peoples also had to solve: How do we obtain enough food to sustain a growing population? Students will simulate clansmen trying to provide enough food to sustain their growing populations.
This activity allows students to be up and moving around the classroom while still engaged in the learning process.
