PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In "Neologisms from Literature" students are given a definition of "neologism" and nine examples (i.e.,Nerd, yahoo, chortle, quark, utopia, tintinnabulation, grok, cyberspace, Catch-22 ). Students are then required to explain their origins and how they are now used in everyday language. This activity has proven to be a useful exercise in many geography and English or Language Arts classes. All of this is done through a reliable and easily accessible website, which has been included at the bottom of the exercise.
