This is a project to provide a suitable “home” or nesting box for certain kinds of wildlife where natural homes - such as hollow trees or logs - are few or missing. These structures will help increase the wildlife population provided that the other needs of wildlife are full-filled.
This is the first project here at TPT. It is from a series of projects I developed in 1978 as part of The Environmental Education Curriculum Service. At that time it was called "Site Development" and contained projects that were part of improving access to environmental sites in the classroom or the out of doors.
I hope you find it useful
