Get this worksheet free! Use this worksheet to show students a visual way to learn how to solve net ionic equations. There are typical step by step worksheets, but why not use this fun net ionic worksheet instead? I have found this format to be more effective than a typical worksheet and slightly more interesting for my students, but I'll let your students be the judge of that!
I would use this worksheet as a homework exercise or an in class activity. Basically, the students will write the equation, balance the equation, draw the equation, split up soluble compounds, draw the equation solubilized, write the net ionic equation, and then draw the net ionic equation. This way they get to "see" why we do all these steps!

Solubility rules are included on the last page.
