In this no-prep in-class activity, you'll put students' time watching T.V. to good use as they craft a Netflix Queue for a literary character.
Students will have fun considering the many television shows out there as they think deeply about their character and defend their choices with reference to the text.
This single lesson plan would make for a great day for a substitute teacher or for a class the day before a vacation or the day after a big test. While keeping students focused and engaged, it gives them a chance to relax a little on their own turf.
