Product Description
Introduce students to FDR's attitude toward foreign policy in the 1930's and how that begin to evolve as fascist leaders gained power in Europe. Students analyze a timeline of how the U.S. became more involved in WWII (cash and carry, lend and lease, etc.). For the activity, each student (in groups of 4) analyze a document (three text based documents and one political cartoon) to determine if the source was in favor of neutrality or intervention. Finally, students write a response on whether they support a neutral or interventionist stance.
