Students play Bingo using various symbols, pictures and icons representing Nevada. Fun to use on Statehood Day, October 31, 1864. This game can be played like traditional Bingo or can be used to increase identification, encourage communication and improve vocabulary of state symbols. Bingo boards can be changed or personalized.
1) Students can pick a picture on their card and use it in a sentence,
2) The teacher can give clues and have the students guess which picture it is,
3) Picture cards can be used to encourage writing or help with spelling.
Six different "Bingo" cards are provided as well as the teacher's or caller's card. Make 2 copies of the Teacher's page. Cut one page apart, place individual picture cards in a basket to "draw out" during Bingo.
