You may have learned it as "Never Eat Shredded Wheat" or even "Never Eat Sour Watermelon". But there's no question that many students of generation remember the four points of the compass as "Never Eat Soggy Waffles."
This easy-to-print 8.5 x 11 poster looks great in any classroom and is a quick visual reminder of not just the points of the compass but also an easy way to remember them.
Students will smile and laugh as they learn.
P.S. Do you teach in Spanish, too? Or do you just want to reinforce some of the content that your students are learning in Spanish class? A Spanish-language version of this product --"No Es Siempre Obvio" for Norte, Este, Sur, Oeste-- is also available from Teach-and-Learn Social Studies!
P.P.S. Don't miss the drop of syrup on the compass rose. Did you miss it the first time? I bet your students will, too!
