Product Description
This worksheet allows students learn about the how British captured the city of New Amsterdam from the Dutch in 1664 and renamed the city New York. This worksheet on New York City will guide students through the importance of Dutch influence on early New York City. After reading this worksheet my students have a better understanding of the importance of New York City.
This activity is very easy to use. All you have to do is print off the reading from the following website for classroom use or direct students to the website to answer the worksheet questions:
