Guides students through the "Know-Do-Understand" Curriculum Model AND the 3 Core Competencies (Thinking, Communication and Personal/Social)

I created this product to support teachers as they facilitate and guide students through the reflection process. This handout can be used for ANY course/area of learning. This handout asks learners to reflect on what they now can do, understand and know (DUKs), and also provides brainstorming space for students to consider how the learning process develops their core competencies.
When to Use:
This handout is designed to be used at the end of the learning process– whether that be a unit, project, lesson etc. as a means for each learner reflect on their personal learning process, growth, and development . For the teacher, familiarity with the Core Competencies and the “Know-Do-Understand” curriculum model of the BC Curriculum is recommended – Check out this link for an overview: https://curriculum.gov.bc.ca/curriculum/overview
