Need a quick activity to help make students think about the New Deal? Have them make posters!
Here students will be asked to make their own posters convincing the American people to accept a New Deal program of their choice. On the back students will need to write a paragraph discussing what the program was, why it helped people during the New Deal, and evaluate if this program would still be effective today.
This was done as a follow up activity in my room after students had already learned about nine key New Deal programs.
This was uploaded in Word so that you can edit it as needed.
