PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This resource contains 9 passages from important American works studied in most high school English Classes. They are each paired with 10 original SAT-like multiple choice questions. The passages come from; "Of Plymouth Plantation", Patrick Henry's "Give Me Liberty" Speech, The Scarlet Letter (Chapter 8), "Self-Reliance", Mark Twain's "Advice to Youth", Lorraine Hansberry's "To Be Young, Gifted, and Black", The Great Gatsby (Chapter 7), The catcher in the Rye (Chapter 8), and James Baldwin's "The Creative Process". These resources reflect the types of readings and text-dependent questions students encounter with the redesigned SAT. **Please note that the passages and questions from The Scarlet Letter and The Great Gatsby are available within other products at my store.
